Setting a Crime Novel on Hippie Hill in Golden Gate Park

In Book 2 of my series of hippie whodunnits, the backdrop for the murder is a fictional concert on Hippie Hill. I don’t know why this little mound looms so large in the lore of Haight-Ashbury, but it was a perfect setting for crime fiction. A Hitman on Haight Street, the sequel to The Haight, comes out later this month.
