Peter Moreira is an author, presenter, and has spent more than 30 years in journalism across Asia, Europe, and North America.

His writing has appeared in USA Today, the Globe and Mail, The Toronto Star, National Post, the Chronicle-Herald, and the Independent on Sunday.

A decade with the The Deal of New York saw him serving as London Bureau Chief, and covering M&A and finance in the U.S. He would later move on to Bloomberg, where he covered European and U.K. banking and finance. Today, he runs Entrevestor.com, a news and data service covering innovative industries in Atlantic Canada.

Entrevestor’s unique presence within the innovative industries of Atlantic Canada fuels its databank, and positions Peter as a catalyst for conversation and exploration at events across Canada. 2017’s ATLANTIC CANADA'S STARTUP INDUSTRY - by the numbers, hosted at the Halifax World Trade and Convention Centre, was a major success.

Peter’s book Backwater: Nova Scotia’s Economic Decline, was the summation of an expansive, 30+ year global career in journalism and was published by Numbus in 2009. He is also the author of Hemingway on the China Front, published by Potomac in 2006, and The Jew Who Defeated Hitler, published by Prometheus in 2014. Peter is posturing to publish his newest book, The Haight, in 2018.
